Ambrose wouldn't make it past the first Bristol race. He whinge himself to death in the car, 50 laps into the race from all the bumps and hits, he got.

I wouldnt be surprised if he went, to NASCAR, for a Ford team.... SBR must have some relationship with a Ford operation in the US, especially regarding the sourcing of engine parts and engine technologies.... so its not a very long bow to draw

Exactly right.

If he does go, expect a few more to follow I would reckon, just like the switch to Ford from Lowndes. Someone has to be the trailblazer.

I'm going to go so far as to say that 4 maybe 5 Holden drivers will change teams in 2005 with 2 maybe changing manufacturers. As for Ford i say at least 3 will change teams with maybe all of them changing manufacturers.

I like the NASCAR ideas though. With younger and younger drivers (the Kelly's come to mind - Rick has won Bathurst already ) What challenges are there going to be for them after a few years.

Why would Ambrose go race on a oval track.More likely to go to the ALMs series.Some of the people from before sillycars are now working for teams in that series running Vettes.

Well it would be nice if Todd is the one with the lucky Rabbit's foot this year.

Can you imagine the inside of the team if Todd is in championship contention and the other guy wasnt?
