New TV graphics continue to be rather nice. The new grid animations are kinda cool. The Silverstone 4H screen before the stream was nice too.

Whichever company was brought in to do this are very very good. Let them loose on the website and timing. This is a great step forward.

Toyota flies to the distance as per usual and Ginetta can't really keep up with P2 Orecas as per usual...

Anyway the TV graphics are nice yes

Expect that to continue if the warm-up laps are that slow for the rest of the season. It’s so much easier for the hybrids to warm up their tires.

Why did Ginetta start with the 2 least experienced LMP1 drivers? They might be the factory team drivers but would've chosen Hanley/Orudzhev in the 5 and Jarvis in the 6.
Think it showed as both looked edgy on the warm up lap and very cautious at the start

#6 Ginetta feels like 4 wheels is just overkill and jettisons the right rear at Woodcote.

I too like the TV graphics. Nice and simple and shows just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. Lots of other sports could learn from the simplicity.

I think they can follow your advice on that too. I'd drop the full-screen SC notification. I'd drop the progress bar in the top left. I'd make the FCY/SC box in the top left an extra pixel thicker. It is struggling with the video compression a little.

Removing the car names from the standings tower on the left is a good call. Just listing ORECA looked stupid. Car numbers are the most relevant if you aren't showing team names.

The progress bar is kind of pointless. I'd keep it though, just stop the scrolling colour graphics and use it as the line under the actual remaining time.

The stream quality is spot on for me. Beautiful.

There are definitely signs of over-designing but there's more I like than dislike. I'd also remove the spinning effects on the border circle around pretty much everything - in on-boards, downshifts happen too quickly for the spins and it looks far less silly than the upshifts as a result..

They're missing a trick with the 4 quarter circles. 4 classes. Make each quarter represent a class. #IntroToGfxDesign

TV Graphic showing distance rather than time is interesting as well. Haven't seen that before.

#7 hybrid punches by the Rebellion under acceleration. #1 really tried but it wasn't happening. A great demonstration on why it's impossible to balance the cars.
