2] Correct. Was always going to happen. 3] Incorrect. Close, only 4 points difference. 4] Correct. Most expected him to retire. 5] Correct. With two rounds left. 6] Incorrect. Lap records were broken during FP/Quali but surprisingly not during the race. 7] Incorrect. Ocon just behind Perez (13 points). 8] Incorrect. DNF'd 4 times! 9] Incorrect. Fortunately. 10] Incorrect. Unfortunately. 4/10. Fail. |

Well, number 1 was right. Not sure about number 2 although he binned it in a couple of FP2 and FP3 sessions. 3 hasn't happened, 4 sort of happened (Indy, Toyota seat fit), 5 sort of (Bottas taking his first although not a rookie!), 6 noooope, 7... well, very nearly. So mostly a pile of nope. Never ask me to select your lottery numbers |

2. Correct 3. Mostly incorrect (he won 3 races and ended up 3rd in points) 4. Fail 5. Fail again 6. Half correct; he did win 2 races but ended up just behind Ricciardo in the points 7. Nope, another fail 8. Fail 9. It was pretty close but ultimately another fail (although Ericsson would've scored in Baku if not ordered to move aside - which people tend to forget) 10. Semi-fail as Wehrlein's crash in Monaco only counts as a half-flip 11. Semi-fail again 2/11. Oh well, better luck next year I guess. |

Just curious - why did you think Ricciardo would leave F1?

Agreed, he's great for F1 and seems to be flying under the radar now...it's all about Max at RB, Hamilton failed to name him recently as a challenger and Autosport had him surprisingly far down the top 50 drivers list.
Everything a Honey Badger needs to prove them wrong! |
