Nice of him to go directly at the cameras for us. Opposite side of the track from Dyson in TA a bit ago, that corner at full chat is damn near single lane with the bumps, both throw you off your line and often right in to your neighbor

This format in qualifying never really seems to work does it, something always happens, what is so bad about having a half hour or longer, why does it have to be such a short deal, it always seems to be such a flat thing

Well put Ernie Francis Jr back in car with a roof and well....

Ernie at the front and walked away a bit after he got in and ANSA broke something. Codriver kept it in contention and they were 2nd yesterday. Didn't realize Lamborghini streams it live on YT, caught the back half of the race. And MX-5 was up earlier.

The channel ran about 600-800 viewers so not burning up the internet but IMSA radio and good picture

I kind of like the shirt format, because you have to turn it on right away and you don't get many opportunities. Yes the red flags make it difficult at times but I'll take it.

And for the record I wish they'd ditch hyperpole at Le Mans and go back to the previous format! So I guess I like longer sessions too, but only for one race!

Exactly they have people watching and if you have paid to be there you get nothing, it is a garbage format, I get the instant speed factor but I think qualifying in IMSA is a very poor format.

All Corvettes have their quali times invalidated due to some illegal configuration of the cars. What's interesting, IMSA will broadcast the race on YT for international viewers.

Privateer 963s looking good... or the 5 at least was until the penatly had to be served. Scary scary moment in the GT ranks indeed at the start, how could that not cause a massive carnage? Great it didn't but I guess in 9 out of 10 such situations would be a disaster.
