Probably only one Panoz Abruzzi GT2 was build. Might be 2, who knows. I doubt it because it was never homologated due to the road car not passing homologation iirc.

I believe there was 1 and 1 "road" version built, they had the "race" version lap the track with other Panoz cars at Petit but it never ran. I think the road car was a body on a Esperante roller for demonstration

2 race of the Avezzanos were run and a street as well but it was a derivation of the Esperante line. There was no GTLM version of the "base" it was GT2, it was called Esperante GT-LM just to add to the naming fun but that was pre-GTE/GTLM naming

Best thing about Ford and Chevy getting in to full GT3 racing is that it could finally get some USA based GT4 teams in IMSA Pilot series and GT WC America to move up to GT3.

One thing I missed in the release of GT4 and GT3 cars is that they are also planning a single make series for IMSA that uses a slightly different version of the car. DSC has some info about Fords customer programs here:

Guessing that's a short weekend paddock filler, can't imagine them getting squeezed in at the enduros or Long Beach. Carrera Cup got kicked out of the Petit, not sure this would be good replacement, but probably fewer cars so less space needed.

The Ferrari (DTM/GTWC for Thierry Vermeulen) and Skoda (rally for Jos) are the cars Verstappen.com Racing is using at the moment.

Schedule is out, mix of events

2024 Mustang Challenge Schedule:
June 7-9 — Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
June 27-30 — Watkins Glen International
Aug. 2-4 — Road America
Aug. 31-Sept. 1 — Circuit of The Americas
TBA — Charlotte Motor Speedway

Charlotte will I'm guessing be Roval Cup weekend, it's the home of the Ford Performance Driving School as well

It seems Multimatic have their hands full building mustangs at a clip of 2 per month, which is not nearly enough to keep up with initial demand:

I wonder if the Ford series could be a recruiting and trial ground for Ford NASCAR drivers? Ford might be the first to put actual stock in road racing skills for NASCAR programs.
