Anyone remember czech Skoda 130RS ETCC squad? Jan Senkyr drove there, his son Robert recently bought BMW Z4 (former DB Motorsport car i believe). PR says they want to enter some Blancpain GT races. Regular frontrunner in Central Europe. Driver lineup TBA.

A little bird told me the other day that Rinaldi Racing will also do the Sprint Series this coming season, in addition to the Endurance Series and VLN. Looking forward to seeing what they can do, also adds more diversity to the field.

But what happens with BSS full season entries list, if BAku is limited to 30 cars, and you add PWC entries, do you exclude few of the worst cars of the BSS full season entries?
I thought BSS was going to grown with the combined prices of BSS+BES join efforts. |

Isn't that the Attempto Racing Pro-Am car? They seem to have ditched the Porsches en masse and are fielding a car in each class for BES and two for BSS. They've taken on Yoshi Mori for both series so I assume he has in some way contributed to the livery, through sponsors or similar.
Most notably they've got Estre and Rob Bell as factory drivers, that's quite a statement of intent for a team new to the 650S GT3. The Hello Kitty livery might look cute but with Estre at the wheel the car will surely pounce on its targets. ... I'll get my coat. |

I don't think so. That was Giuseppe Cipriani's team, right? He has no links with Attempto that I can see. They [Ibiza Racing] had Hello Kitty as a sponsor but there was some affiliation to KISS as well.

Ha, I had a dream about a Hello Kitty liveried factory GT1 Corvette at Le Mans once... but there were DPs in that race as well, so I didn't think too much of it at the time.

Dream or nightmare?
Audis dominating at the moment it seems. When the SRO announced they were going to do track-specific BoP I got worried that there wouldn't be tracks that suited specific cars any more, but weirdly I'm actually looking forward to the status quo being resumed here. I think it helps that the looks of the new R8 are helping me appreciate the 'old' one more than before too! Frijns and Vanthoor as a partnership really looks like it's going to take some beating. |
