Mike Kelly 1 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
F3 & British GT's

With Oulton Park not being on the F3 / GT calender this year it would be nice to see them race on a circuit in the Nort West. But if circuits like Pembrey (which is used by some F3 teams for testing) can't get on the calender then I'm not sure if Anglesey will.

As regards to distance, Anglesey if roughly the same distance as Silverstone for me and I know where I'd rather marshal - It's the Welsh circuit for me! (and the camp site is flat!)

Anglesey is also used by some F3 teams for testing - and many other classes..

Just back from my Hols in freezing Switzerland today and greated by my mail, most of which were credit card opportunities. But deep in the junk was the 4 page brochure of the proposed new layout at Anglesey. Fantastic, congratulations to Richard Peacock. The facility looks like it will be superb !. Stop moaning about getting there. Brands is no cake walk from Manchester.

Hi all, Having read the forums for some time, as it is often a good source for info. on all that is motor sport. I was surprised to see the posting that Anglesey circuit had just been granted planning permission for the new layout. Having followed developments at the circuit since the new configuration idea was in its infancy, I can confirm planning permission was granted back in August 2003! However, the announcement that is imminent, is that of Objective One Funding, some £1.8 million that is crucial to these exciting developments going ahead. As far as I,m aware, no official announcement has yet been made on this funding, but would be greatful of any clarification on this!

Hi Mike,
Your journeytime in December wasn't too bad
You made a week of it if I recall, mind you breaking down on the way home hardly helped.

Just got my brochure from Mr Peacock - looks impressive but really hope that the BRSCC NW/BARC NW avoid opting for the Club Circuit configuration. This looks (On Paper) a bit tame. The Coastal Circuit or the others look very interesting though.
