Anthony Davidson getting a telly gig would be good. I don't know how a broadcasting schedule squares with his expanded Peugeot commitments. Karun Chandok would be perfect for the mike for want of a drive. I hope Tony Jardine isn't resurrected though and there's a few other characters the BBC/Sky need to steer clear from. The temptation of Mansell must be resisted.
Personally, I liked the lack of the studio with the BBC and the semi-directed nature of the banter between the BBC trio. The more vanilla, choreographed studio approach of Sky doesn't inspire me in comparison. |

Surprised that Murray Walker hasn't been mentioned yet! I'd be happy for him to team up with Martin Brundle again.
As for the ladies... Suzi Perry or Vicky Butler-Henderson. Both knowledgeable and easy on the eyes/ears |

I hope Mark Blundell gets promoted alongside Brundle, or perhaps Eddie Irvine.

To double confirm, DC won't be part of the team at sky:

Indeed, and it would keep him away from the BBC, unless he starts wearing silly shirts that is. Other presenters I'd like to see on SKY F1 HD SD FD AD or whatever would be Tulisa, Lorraine Kelly, Stacey Solomon, Ant and Dec, or Bruce Forsyth. If x-Factor went to Sky (god I wish it would), they could fill the 25 minutes worth of ad breaks during the build up with x-Factor ads reminding everyone of the numbers to dial for voting. Eddie Irvine selling his very own shirts would also be a welcome edition.

Lorraine Kelly and Bruce Forsyth fronting F1? I'd mortgage the house to see that. |

I tell you what. Replace Eddie Jordan with Eddie Irvine and then watch him turn the tables on Coulthard in The Battle of the Eddies. New presenter Lorraine Kelly could then calm the waters whilst new pit-reporter Bruce Forsythe moves onto the next segment.

That's a pretty good line up.

It is a good line-up. I'll miss some of them. But I won't be contributing any of my pennies to their Sky salary.
Now a more important question is who is going to be doing the job for the Beeb. We know Jake and DC will be there. Apparently the Scottish woman ("Retired again. Tell us what happened." Inciteful interviewing: not!) is still there which is a shame because I would like to see Louise Goodman or Vicki Butler-Henderson taking the totty role. Presumably EJ will be hanging in there. So that leaves a lead commentator and a pitlane reporter yet to be found. |

Would DC be up for lead commentator and maybe stick Maurice Hamilton and/or Gary Anderson with him.
Gary Anderson could add the technical and strategy knowledge that has always been lacking in the BBC and ITV coverage. Nigel Roebuck would also be an excellent colour man. |

Gary Anderson is a world class engineer, a fine journalist for the printed press and as good a man as you'll met. His commentary though when he was handling the mike for Setanta was very dry and monotone.

I think it's a shame Brundle's going back to his 'colour' commentary role. I thought he did a grand job 'stepping up' alongside DC. Shame to break the two up.
Would have really enjoyed MB/DC at Sky, or MB/Ben Edwards, but I guess that'd require Brundle to be colour commentator there, too. Selby |
