Hi...
DC and RB would probably be counted as old style drivers with regard to friendliness in being approachable...but not many others especially at the track....under different circumstances...who knows.

Prost was an amiable guy too.
A friend of mine met him at Spa....a real gem of a bloke.

The thing is that way back then in the 60's lets say, drivers seemed to believe we fans were as much a part of racing as they and the teams were....all low key of course... and treated us accordingly.
But today with all the corporate machinery we seem to be way down on the list of their priorities.

It would be a shame if Lotus came back and they were not even close to the team that has won 79 races and 7 world titles.

Its the same with other classic names of the past like Brabham, BRM, Tyrrell and Cooper, they should stay in the past.
