Although its far from an ugly car (looks quite good IMO), I dont think this is what a sports prototype should look like... and indeed that nose looks like a duck's mouth :P

The side view shows it has roots in their older cars.

One thing for certain, this is the most that WR has ever been talked about, and likely that won't change once the flag drops.

I don't mind it...although I agree that something has to be done to stop them from looking like F1 cars...

To my eyes this is the most exciting LMP2 I've seen in ages - and staying true to WR's long tradition - is genuinely different. It's rare that ridical forms like we see on it make it from concept car / original sketches into the finished article, and very pleasing that they've done so this time.
It's interesting how designs always gravitate towards the "single seater on steroids" sort of shapes - not sure I'd want to see sportscars go further down this route, but for now I'm one happy viewer of what, for me, is a great looking car. |

Like always the WR cars look different. The previous WR's look better.

I like the looks. Hope the TV cameras dedicate a fair amount of time to it. Best way to achieve that would be running in front, of course. Good luck to them!

i really like it. it does have a very open-wheel single seater feel to it, but i think it's quite interesting. i think though, if you want the cars to stop looking like single seaters, then something like the mazda furai is the way to go (also a really, really nice looking car, but not really a racer)...

fabulous looking car, it looks like a platypus for me somehow but it is a pretty car nonetheless, and with the zytek V8 it will almost certainly make a very very nice sound but will it be be competitive?
probably no but i cant wait to see it in action at LM. |

It is a very good looking LMP.
The sidepods are something different, which I like. Looks a bit like they took styling cues from an A1GP car... |

I like some of it, but I'm really not keen on the side pods and those ridiculous legality planks up the side. From that view it does look like an open-wheeler put in a box. I would think that the ACO will be forced to act to stop this trend getting completely out of hand. The rest of it is OK though.
