Ouch quite a shunt by Lewis ... Stream had it as Piquet at first... Out the car fine though.

I wonder if they can repair it in time, or if they'll stick him in the spare?

My god. Did you just see that complete tool in a Force India block of Alonso's lap, and then when he tried to overtake, turn right in on him?
Who was that? |

Just one of those things. |

As predicted Ferrari look strong.
That was rather unnecessary between Sutil and Alonso. With regards to Hamilton's crash, didn't Kovalainen have the exact same accident in testing for Renault? |

I thought it was Fisi? Well the Stream said it was?
It was a it massa vs DC all over again. Although to me it looked like Alonso lost it slightly under breaking and had nowhere to go. Not sure if that is because the Force India was breaking harder than usual into that corner. |

Alonso did lock up the rears, but seemed to catch it. Unfortunately, the mystery driver did not see him. |

To qualify what I said about Massa, I think his performance could improve significantly. I won't yet write him off as the probable race winner. All I meant by not putting him in my predicted top eight was that he hasn't yet given us a solid indication that he can last a whole race distance without cocking up.
Rosberg and Kubica seem threatening this weekend, while McLaren's cars look sluggish relative to the Ferraris. |

Massa always good on that... the catch is in the race, keep doing good laps, no mistakes, but if he's pressured I think he'll crack.

Will he get a 5 place penalty? There must have been some damage to the gearbox surely. |

Bahrain is such a dull track in terms of scenery. The Gp2 last year though was great, so i have hope for 09. Abu Dhabi looks like it could make for some more interesting scenery

I'm going for a Ferrari 1-2, Kimi ahead of Massa.
Got a bit of a bad feeling about this bland race. Selby |

That run off area did a spectacuarly poor job of slowing Lewis down. I think gravel would have done a far better job there.

Hamilton does not get a penalty for medical centre mix-up.
