if they were , they are gone
https://www.instagram.com/jackgoffracing/ maybe he did sign a deal for next season but this means someone else will go , probably Rob Collard or traditionally Turkington will lose his WSR seat after winning the title... |

HARD cars now running black liveries rather than white. Nothing too exciting!

A new livery and garage backgrounds, that's worth 5 seconds a lap!

Hammerton and Thompson now have the same livery. Previously all 4 cars had different highlight colours.

Black. For stealth: the #HARD drivers will be able to pull sneaky shortcuts in the gloom as the darkness descends in R3 at Brands in the rain...
Or did BMR find a load of old body panels in a shed on the farm? |

In fairness to HARD, they had two of the quickest cars on track at Rockingham and the VWs should really suit Silverstone.
I think they may surprise us this weekend...! |

Free Practice:
I know you can't read to much into it but my notes:
HARD CC, should be near the front, and no weight- other than the CC lots of 'short' cars near the top.. Fords are lower than I expected, thought they would be higher as they are generally fast in a straight line. Plato pretty high suggesting Suburu might be clawing back some straight-line speed. Ingram highest of the title protagonists- not a surprise given the Toyotas strengths Sutton higher than Turks Turks 20th...but I expect he might get 5 or so places higher come quali BTCC Silverstone: Practice Results (1) Full practice results (1) ahead of round 25 of the 2018 British Touring Car Championship from Silverstone. A little bit curious about Plato in 8th considering the version of Silverstone they use is basically 3 straights and just a little twisty bit at the end and hes always complaining about how little straight line speed he has... |

I very much doubt Turks will trouble the top 10. I think 12th - 15th is the best Turks can hope for given the cars relative lack of pace.

I'm sorry to be a bit odd one out but what was the 'exciting announcement' of Team HARD? I didn't watch this space yesterday.
Jordan seems really on pace, bit strange he's been so much faster than Turks so far. |

Really surprised to see Tom so low down. Unlike Turkington though, I reckon (hope!) he can drive through the field tomorrow.
Good to see Motorbase getting a good result, surely Tordoff must make the podium tomorrow. Bushell a bit further back than I expected. Unusual to see the Collard name on the front row! |

When you're that far back, it doesn't matter who is ahead of who. The weekend will be won and lost on who stays out of trouble.
