BCC listed it as 'Connected TV and online', not sure it was on normal Red Button. I used BBC Sport app via smart TV.

Who was the Richard who was alongside Martin in the box?
Trains of cars, such a shame what overtaking there was resulted in penalties. Still it’s great to be watching this series again thanks to the BBC, let’s hope they do the full season |

These are some real BTCC level qualifications.
First 12 in 0.4s Bennani was 23rd (I think) 0.8s off |

Huff and Kristoffersson should not be down there. Edit: actually not too bad. 10kg up on the Cupras. Last edited by Obizzz; 7 Apr 2019 at 12:22. |

Some crashes and retirements were the only talking point of race 3.
0 overtakes all weekend? At least 0 overtakes that didn't result in a crash or a penalty. Why are they here, even the grand stands looked rather empty. If you want a different continent go to North America, South America, Oceania or go to South Africa instead for a different African race. |

After watching the BTCC overtaking fest at Brands it’s obvious Marrakesh is horrendous...
Oceania? Bathurst is talking about additional race weekends. WTCR there would be fantastic. Africa? Kayalami looks great now after it’s re-vamp. S America? Interlagos of course. N America? How about Laguna Seca? UK Brands GP or Donny... |

Any of those over this crap. Marrakech doesn’t suit the TCR cars at all. (Probably doesn’t suit any cars tbh) |

If your business is to get sponsors, this race is terrible.
If your business is to get fans, this race is terrible. If your business it to make money, this race is great, unless you need fans that see sponsors. |

What a waste to see them racing in Marrakech. It's definitely one of the best if not THE best grid in a touring car Championship.
The "ignorance" of this Link&Co (bad looking car) remembers me the winning Cruze in WTCC Seems to ne a promising car Also Gabri Tarquini evergreen, another win in WTCR after the Catsuburg misfortune. Bad week end for the poor Golf, Azcona what a surprise! Also the Alfa struggled but it was easy to immagine on this track. I hope to see some good racing fights in Hungary |

I can't stand to see races like this! 3 races were drivers seems like blocked due to traffic in highway! And the ridiculous thing is that we won't see overtakes neither in vila real, zandvort and Macau!

If it wasn't for the drama of the race leaders retiring, this weekend would be utterly forgetful. If this is the only race meeting the BBC shows, it's picked the worst one to do.
Still some good performances by Bjork and Tarquini and good to see Flash up there in R3 |

Sadly so many championships race at these uninteresting poorly attended venues. It just is poor when you have all these championships being decided in front of no one.
Its not a good look to not only have 3 dull races, but no spectators at all, there must have been 50 people across both stands. |

On the other hand there should more spectators at Hungaroring and Slovakiaring, while Zandvoort (JUMBO days), Nordschleife (24 Hours race) and Villa Real (it's always full) will have a lot of spectators. Last years there was no one at Ningbo, Macau is always full, but no idea what to expect from Sepang and Suzuka. There will be Super Formula and TCR Japan at the same weekend so I expect fairly good attendance. |

Tarquini complaining they are hard done by the BoP because they didn't win 2 races this year.
I worked it out and the Hyundai was quick in quali and the race. It was 2 tenths behind on race pace and 1 tenths behind in quali (on average) with only Audi was quicker in both. Plus all 4 Hyundais were in the top half for race and quali pace. I think he wants to be 2 seconds a lap quicker than the rest! The BoP is actually really good when you look at the numbers (for Marrakech at least). |
