I wasn’t expecting that, the series seems to have been struggling to find good drivers with enough money in recent years. Good luck to them, though I suspect it will mean that one of the other teams will disappear before long.

Well, Mazepin did a test for Carlin and that seat is I think better, Carlin being an experienced and competitive team in F2. So the first target for him is I think Carlin. But If he can't get that seat It's obvious he will end up at Hitech.
However I'd like to see Ghiotto and Sette Camara at Hitech And what about Aitken? |

Ghiotto already said he was gone. He's got a GT drive lined up I think?

I’m sure Ghiotto could continue if he’s paid enough.

Ghiotto's moved to SRO GT Europe and I think he's trying to work his way into LMP1 now, so I don't think he'll be back for another year.

Indeed, in an interview to motorsports.com, Ghiotto said he wants a new direction after a long career in F2, so he swifter to WEC after finish the 2019 F2 season.

His Dad certainly loves his Ferrari's. Supposed to be one of the biggest collectors in China.

Have I missed something? Only 9 teams this year?
I think it's terrible to have Gelael still in the series, he's not developed in 4 seasons! I suppose the backing helps keep the team afloat and provides the opportunity for a talented driver in the sister car. Deletraz ought to have moved off to sportscars or something by now too. Other than that, we have kept the quickest newcomers from last year and appear to be getting some pretty strong debutants. |

There are 11 teams in Formula 2 in 2020. All 10 teams from 2019 plus Hitech.

Aside from that though, I agree it’s definitely looking to be an exciting one towards the front of the grid and the new rookies will hopefully give the fast sophomores a run for their money. |

On the other hand i do think Mr Gelael never have the team support and commitment he deserves. He is constantly set as second driver even before the season starts. |

Perhaps Ghiotto is gambling that Mr M may take him to F1 if he does a Haas-style deal with Toto...
