Got a kick out of the TV ad. NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, and oh also PWC.

Mills/Whittmer and Riddle/Wilson dominate both Sprint Cup races at Mosport. ViJoen needs to be in the regular GT race. He can drive.

Quite an action filled GTS race 2. A lot of caution time, but it sure wasn't boring!

Don't worry, other teams will complain and he'll get ranked to the point he will have to pay way more for a seat. That's called proper racing. Too bad the team can't get it together.
Looks like they finally lost it with the GTS race. I guess a three lap shootout was as good as it gets. All of these teams are going to have to make a quick turnaround for Lime Rock. At least it's nothing like when GA had back to back Laguna and Lime Rock events. |

Once again, half a race (thus far) spent under yellow.

After the race finally restarted following the Eversley/Fong incident it ran pretty clean, especially considering the damp conditions. Not the most entertaining race to watch though, considering how completely dominant Pat Longs Porsche was this weekend. The eventual outcome never really seemed in question.
Congratulations to Porsche, Pat Long, Micheal Schein and the Wright Motorsport team on the super sweep! |

I actually really enjoyed the actual race, but all that effort for 25 minutes of green flag racing just seems utterly daft sometimes. Love the field, the calendar and the online broadcasts, but the race format is really frustrating, Greg Creamer's spin-tastic commentary really grates on me and the fact replays aren't easily available online makes it really difficult to follow along sometimes.
For example, I will be at the N24 next weekend, but I'd love to see the Lime Rock races and this field should be excellent fun on that track - heavens only know if it will be possible to watch sometime. |

Davison has been issued a penalty, moving him down to eleventh. Always Evolving has appealed the decision.

Not Davison's first offense when it comes to race ending contact... |

GT3 cars today CAN run 60 minutes on fuel. How about make a 50 minute race but the first 10 minutes of full course yellow not count against the race clock.

I thought that it was a great race. The occasional bursts of rain helped. I spent the race at Moss. Long had everyone covered but Cunningham holding off two McLaren's (Fogarty and one of the Lizards), Fuentes' 458 and Montecalvo's Merc was entertaining. It seemed that every lap the order behind Cunningham changed. Near the end Fogarty faded.
Other thoughts. The SprintX wasn't too bad. A few more cars would help. The Sin R1, if looks were speed it would have cleaned up. It was also a very quiet car. The GTS race was good for the small period of time it was green. I was at T2 when the incidents at T3 happened. Both incidents required lengthy tire barrier repair. Interesting mix of cars. The Evora's looked and sounded great. The KTM's looked like they should be running in the P2 class in IMSA. |
