It was announced by Alstare Suzuki today. The deal was changed. It sounds like a seat swap between Guintoli and Kagayama. These things can and will happen from time to time.

Indeed you were right. Max Neukirchner has been confirmed at Ten Kate. I'm a bit disappointed with this, as he hasn't really impressed me that much. But maybe I'm wrong.

Guess that means Pitt wont be on a SBK or Sofuoglu.
So Checa is out & Neukirchner & Rea are on the Ten Kate Honda's? |

Hope so, Tom has had a good year so would like to see him on a good bike next season.
That would mean Kawi would have 2 good riders, now they might be more near the front! |

Sykes got very good results on a VK Honda for Birdy a few years back so seems a good ride.
Not a bad team really Vermin and Sykes |

Personally, I thought he made a better impression with his wildcard rides last year. I don't think he deserves a factory supported ride, not that my opinion means much. |

Your opinion makes sense jhansen - tho, at the same time, i think Ben could be a little bit of a special talent & Sykes in P8 is probably roughly where we thought he would be in his debut year...
Hope the Kwaka gets back up there... |

I dont think Sykes should have got a works ride this season either. But it doesnt helpwhen Ben is you team mate, the guy is a machine and would make anybody who was his team mate look alittle slow!

I disagree about Tom getting a ride, he was getting superb results on basically a private Suzuki with a few factory bits on it. He was superb in 2008 and fully deserved a ride, rememebr he was often quicker than Crutchlow and Haslam and they ahve both done superbly.
Spies is a special talent and is in his comfort zone on the bike and Superbikes in general. You dont know the spec of Tom's bike as the have traditionally been keen to run their bikes very different to each other. Fully deserving of a ride and far more deserving than may in WSBK next year |

Tech 3 have allowed James Toseland to test the R1 at the season ending Portimao test. That will be fun to see.

"Checa moves to join the Althea Ducati WSB team after the conclusion of the 2009 season."
From the official website. Anyway, what will become of Stiggy now that Haslam has left for Alstare? Speaking of Altare, I was led to believe by some commentators that Neukirchner was Batta's blue-eyes boy so how come he left for Ten Kate? |

I think that Max was being a little too keen to get on the bike with a serious injury that actually might never heal fully.
There rumours about Batta getting conflicting medical reports, and mayeb coz Max is doubtful, sponsor would leave and they would be buggered! Hopefuly with Guinters and Leon sponsors are easier to find |

With regards to Kawasaki, I presume Parkes is out of the door. A bit of a shame if that is the case, he has dragged some results out of that bike. He deserves another opportunity at the very least. |

Shinya Nakano has retired - did a press conference in Tokyo before final round of Jap SBK championship...
Always thought Shinya was the better of the Yamaha Tech 3 boys when Jacques beat him to the 250cc title back in 2000... |

Was onl really better as the bike was desigend around home from racnig in in Japan for years beforehand, much like Harada and Katoh on thier bikes.
Has been awful for years in honesty and shoudl have maybe retired after GP career whimpered out to nothing. |
