They would never make a competitive DTM entry so good riddance. Don't think we'll see McLarens in the DTM though.

Given a massive disappointment with Mercedes' doing, I'm interested how Berger is going to address the issue. If he doesn't react, we'll have a bit of Mercedes Cup.

Grasser Racing Team enters DTM with four factory-backed vehicles. That's massive news for DTM. What's interesting, they will focus solely on this program in 2022, pulling out of any other championship - ADAC GT included.

Big entry, meaning if T3 come back Lamborghini will be likely matching Mercedes for manpower.

I understand the move from GT Masters, I get the impression some are expecting that series to head back towards its PROAM roots, and the factory PRO GT3 entries end up in DTM or GTWC

Its not like GT Masters is short on entries

T3 seems committed to the DTM, although it's yet to be seen whether they will stick to Lamborghini. Grasser's entry came as a surprise to them it seems and they fear they won't get any support from Lambo. There are some rumours about Aston Martin.

Also, looks like Mücke will be back. Furthermore, they will field two cars in DTM Trophy and abandon formula racing entirely, Peter Mücke claiming it's too expensive.

I am in the USA, had no issues watching DTM on DTM Grid website. Now its geoblocked even for the replays of all the races now.

It turns out that after all Red Bull with AF Corse is back. Still no news about the drivers though. For certain it won't be Albon and Lawson. Personally, I hope one of the drivers will be Cassidy and I think it's quite a natural choice for them.

Looking at the entries now it seems there are high chances there will be more than 20 cars on the grid next year - Berger and Elsner claim the registration process goes much better than last year.

Oh right, haven't taken this into consideration... That's me not following FE at all then...
Anyway, Cassidy is very unlikely then. I suppose we'll see at least one Red Bull junior in the car.

2x Porsches for SSR Performance, drivers TBC

Looking more and more likely to see a 22-24 car grid, hopefully we will land on something between 20-24 cars. More than that ends up with the GTWC Sprint mess of just too many cars on track for a sprint race.

Very good news, great to have Porsche on the grid. I wonder whether we'll see further two Porsches entered by another team.
I guess Michael Ammermüller will be one of the drivers.

The list is growing, if I get it correctly, there are already 20 cars confirmed and 6 brands. That's good. Curious about BMW. Seems they're not as supportive as they promised to be.

Quite a logical choice. I wonder if Grasser chooses at least one driver with a DTM experience or will there be only Lambo factory drivers with GT3 past.

I think Bortolotti is a pretty solid likelihood,

FFF i imagine will stay in GTWC to be the factory team there, Emil Frey moving to GT Masters to lead the Lambo effort there, with Grasser focusing solely on DTM. Well balanced in terms of teams, big question is how they break the factory drivers down as DTM clashes a bit with GTWC

In Supercars she also didn't show anything special... Would be a bit of a waste of SSR's seat in my opinion.

She did pretty well considering she was not only in the Nissan which was the least competitive make in the field but also least loved car in the squad that was largely made up of spare parts.

Team 75 Bernhard joins DTM next year, seemingly with one Porsche and Thomas Preining, a factory Porsche driver, will be behind the wheel. Early on it didn't seem Porsche is keen on DTM but now the things have changed. That's great news. It means at least 3 Porsches on the grid.
