From what I was able to see, the Caddy's were up 1-3, and BMW is 2-4. A lot better than Daytona... 1:48.735 behind Cadillac at 1:48.534.
Very big improvement. |

Yup, the #60. But WTR were left alone, and count in the BOP upgrade you had to figure one of them was going to make a hot lap.
Can't wait for session 2... |

No wonder the session was a mess.. spins, mishaps and shunts all around. This is what happens when you don't have your Wheaties this morning, eh guys...

And, on the second point regarding MPC, the first 40 minutes of the race has been mostly under yellow - continuing the incident-filled nature of the week so far. Even by Sebring standards, it's been pretty messy. |

FP2 is just starting for IMSA. Could be some quick times as conditions appear favorable.

Looking at times we have 1:47.3 for Delatraz to lead the way, but the top 3 are all different makes in GTP.
But for some reason i just remembered reading that WEC teams have 2 tire options while IMSA teams just have one. I don't know which tires teams are using in WEC, might be the same as IMSA, but might not be. That could impact comparative times. |

Just putting it out there, but It I get the feeling that there might be another BOP update to get the cars closer to the WEC level of at least 1:45.

Corvette gets GT Pro pole, while Racers Edge got the Am pole with their Acura.
In P2 Keating scores the pole, while Andretti gets P3 pole Just GTP left to be decided. |

Derani and pole followed closely by Bourdais. Only 2 cars in the 1:45's but Taylor was on a flyer when the red came out. |

Looks like the speeds and laps are starting to match, between IMSA and WEC. This is what Doornan, Fillon, st al had in mind for the sport, where the cars, drivers, and teams can cross between and not be at a loss.
