Does anyone know if this is the case, Finish work at 1:20 so may pop over in the afternoon if it's free.

Has been in years gone by, and as usual the Friday wasn't in the price listings this year, so I'd be extremely surprised if they started charging.

I do wonder why Silverstone hand out tickets upon entry even when its free, though...

Is there a liability statement of any sorts on it somewhere?

maybe for control or to be able to count easily how many people went in for statistics?

Which car are Edwards and Morley in for Muhlner? The site has Tim Bergmeister in one and Jirik in the other. Either one of them is gone (Bergmeister was Muhlner's guy in the VLN last season) or they've been put in the same car.

Cheers I'll drop in on the way home then.

Is it possible to park inside or external parking only?

Would that be Matt Hamilton by any chance? Good luck with the weekend and I'll try to come over and say hi at some point as I'll be there on Saturday.

If I can meet up with anyone else (Tim, Jake?) then that would be fun to put some faces to names.

Hmm, I think it would be better served to complain about the sue happy idiots and laws that require them to do that so they can stay in business rather than being fleeced by the frakking mob!! I am sure they do not want to spend the money to print the things.

Just to let you guys know, I'm gonna be doing some irreverent text updates via Twitter; www.twitter.com/jakeyorath

You don't need a Twitter account to read them, and they should be of interest if you're reading this...

Pleased to say, Tim's gonna do it too, on a brand new Twitter account. I'm almost tempted to give them chassis numbers... www.twitter.com/timyorath

Nice photos Tim. Beautiful cars.

First times in Silverstone for GT3: Free Practice 1

Hexis DBRS9 on top, over a second ahead of the rest. 3 Porsches in the top 5. #17 Marc Sourd Corvette in 3rd. Best Audi R8 in 6th, Rosberg car with Armindo and Campanico.
Smart choice by Muhlner to bring in Morley and Edwards as they're 2nd.
