The race on saturday was red flagged due to an incident and there wasn't time to re-run it, so another race for them was added to end of sunday timetable. Only a few could stay for it, though.

Do you remember, back in the old days, must have been, ooh, 2010 or 2011, when there was no power or internet at Snetterton? I mean, it was terrible. We had to get out of our gin palaces and TALK to people because there was nothing else to do. No satellite TV, no online Call of Duty, it was MURDER |

Serious sunburn weather - who'd have thought it eh.
Nice to see the mammoth grids just a shame the 7's had their day cut short. . Size matters? Would this be the stunning 'Escort' you were on about - I know - shooting into the sun is a bad idea but just had to go for the shot. A 'few' more here if you fancy taking a look: http://david-stallard.smugmug.com/Pe...-Car-Club-2011 .DAVID. PS: I have to apologies for not posting as often as most but with work / running the 1400 owners club and shooting for CSCC etc I just about have time to say 'Hi' to the misses. Will try and do better - promise |

Very good photos,I take it the 'Flatpack' in pic 1 was looking for an advantage, not that it's obvious.

Race 1 - Tin Tops
23 starters; 17 finishers. 40 minute race (17 laps) with compulsory pit stop.
Won by the 'moderns' Honda Integra (85 - Ainge/Broad) from the Civic Type 'R' s of Taylor/Hammersley (11) and Livens/Dyball (54) with the MG ZR (2) of Robert Addison, 4th. Modern, but all at least 10 years old believe it or not and they provided a great race with just 2.1 seconds covering those first four! |

Race 2 - Jaguar Classic Parts/JEC XJS Champ'ship
22 starters; 21 finishers.
15 minutes + 1 lap race (in effect 8 laps) for these big cars. I imagine the infield part of the new 300 circuit is challenging for them. A brilliant start by Gail Hill in the yelllow XJ6 4000 (52) got her in front of the ultimately quicker XJ6 (1) of Richard Dorlin and XJS 4000 (9) of Chris Palmer and she stoutly defended the lead for 2 or 3 laps before having to give best to those two, and finished 3rd. Dorlin went on to win but was hard pressed all the way by Palmer who put up the fastest lap. :- |

Race 3 - Future Classics
39 starters; 32 finishers; 1 disqualified (the winner on the road!)
A terrific grid for this 40 minute (18 lap) race with plenty of Porsches, BMWs, TVRs, Jags etc. Good battles with Ed Mercer emerging the winner only to be disqualified for a yellow flag transgression. So it was poleman, Nicholas Olson, in his Esprit S3 (12) who won by nearly 15 seconds from Martyn Adams in his TR7 V8 (7). 3rd a lap down was the 911 Carrera (911) of Stuart Jefcoate:- |

And that's it from me, since Race 4 for the 'Magnificent Sevens' was anything but as they were redflagged on the first lap and again at the restart following an accident which took so long to sort out that I decided to go home and feed the dogs!

David that's very kind of you, but the quality is down to the artists Andrew Kitson and Chris Dugan. Despite having sold a few prints on a one to one basis, and also through a local arts and crafts shop, not a single print has been sold from the website in the 3 years plus that it has been in existence. In fact I have at least two more superb prints in stock which I haven't even bothered to add to the site for that reason. One day, I might revamp the whole thing and try to develop the business, but unfortunately at the moment there are a few other more pressing things in my life to sort!

Mike, I think that's just the artwork on the 152 car that may give that impression. The second car, I'm guessing that the bonnet simply flew off during the course of the race.
