Yes it's basically a rebadged Terrano. I'm so impressed with it when I change it, it will either be another Terrano or a Navara.

It's big (>5m long) and goes (reasonably) fast but doesn't use too much fuel, approx 11L/100km or 26mpg average with more city than hwy driving. I haven't timed a 0-60 but it should be under 8sec comfortably even with quite a tall first gear. Even though it is the base model it has cruise, a/c, power front windows, power drivers seat, trip computer & other useful stuff.

I have one of these sitting in the driveway right now too... its an evaluation vehicle owned by FoMoCo... for our 200+ commercial traveller fleet.

Its an XT model, which is well equipped as you suggest... this one is on LPG... and I am not particularly a fan of the gas tank under the cargo area, and the spare tyre in the load space. It has a cargo cage as well...

Its not my cup of tea in driving terms... and am not sure its better than the VZ Commodore I had last week, or certainly the Toyota Rav4 I had under evaluation a couple of weeks ago

Sadly, here are some photos I took of my car last Thursday, the day after I got cleaned up a by a 4WD with a bullbar who rolled through a give way sign, in the wet.

I have an AU2 Ford falcon xr8 ute. It drinks so much fuel it a joke, its got huge taps in the engine bay where fuel just poors out and i am constantly filling up the tank $102.47 AUS was the last time i filled it from empty. Its a good car and has got me out of alot of trouble at times and it loves going sideways.

I also own a 89 model Nissan R32GTR which is a fun car to drive, i want to take it to tracks such as eastern creek and wakefeild park for track days and eventually want to race it.

Is that a daily driver Clive?

You're a brave man if it is!

I ran a Spitfire as my only car for a couple of months once when I was... er... between 'proper' cars. God it was painful!!!

Well what do you expect from a Triumph. Yes it is my daily car, it's too much fun to leave in a garage and only bring out in the sunshine, but then it's not in concours condition either, (because it's used every day!). I luv it and the hood is up only when its raining, usually,

Drive a mundane Hyundai Santa Fe chipped from 113bhp up to 142bhp..
Much improved torque and fuel economy...
Bought it to tow the caravan which it does admirably...

Wife has a Mondeo 2.0 TDDI with a standard 113bhp(ish)......Goes quite well and does quite well on fuel....
