To true Graham we all make mistakes occasionaly and end up having a small amount of contact but appologies are always made and we all remain friends.I know Nick Williamson was disgusted at the driving style and more so at the lack of an apology. On a lighter note another good weekends racing and with the championship still not decided the last two rounds should prove interesting.

oh yes i understand we all including myself make mistakes, i was told by said driver himself that he backed off so as not to hit me too hard, and that he could of easily spun me out if he wanted, followed by
" if you aint rubbing and bumping you aint racing" so what were talking about here isn't mistakes, but deliberate contact, which at OUR level ISNT on, and we must all make sure everyone knows that. i cant and wont comment on what went on in the second t+r race re nick williiamson collision because i didn't see or was involved in what happened, i was tapped by one of the sierra's in that race but i know that that was a racing incident and i have no problem with it, its the deliberate stuff i have a problem with it, the first race incidents i was prepared to put down to a new driver from more professional? championships not knowing the score. |

Another cracking set of races, battles all the way through the field again and for the most part fairly contested. I guess that some contact is inevitable, with the racing being as tight as it's been all year there will be bumps and scrapes. The important distinction though is that everything up until now has been racing incidents and unavoidable. For once however, the perpetrator came off worst (although the sight of an unmanned car rolling down hairy hill was unnerving).
Graham - very impressive move through paddock the two cars were side by side for at least half a lap, great stuff. |

I came home with two cars with no one elses paint on them or any dented panels and the mechanics all still working, thats luck.Tim and I may have finished at the back but there was some pretty close racing at that end as well, even though Tim had the wrong tyres on.
Maybe the last time the Escort will be out in this series, just not competitive now,not that it has ever been, and the engines are to expensive and fragile, just relieved that it finished in one piece. |

Mr. Inskip's driving style may be hard, but not the way he jumped out of his car and allowing it to run downhill again. And being knocked over by his own car. |

I seem to remember Eric did well (on slicks in the wet) at the July 30th Brands race.

What is needed is power, lots of power to make them go,they still handle fantasticly, get your back end out a little, nothing to touch them.

With those mods to the shell, it's in class A anyway, so you can use what engine you like ( I think)
Alan see you at Silverstone p.s. Very nice man from the Vauxhall main dealer has been round and checked tracking/camber etc -all ok for Silverstone, so Snetterton damage was mainly cosmetic! |
