Hi guys,
little error, Edgardo Rossi World Champion 1967 and not !967. Please can you change from both nationalities to CH or Swiss only?? Thank you. As for Danilo Rossi he, definitely is Italian. I was lucky enogh to have raced in the eras of both the geatest go karts racing drivers of all times F. Goldstein and M. Wilson, stoped racing in 74 and returned to racing in 84 and stoped in 87, now I'm looking to start again but only at club level. |

Welcome cpr52 ! If you raced against Francois Goldstein and Mike Wilson, you must have been a pretty good kart racer. Would you like to tell us who you are ?
Last summer, Edgardo Rossi came over to Whilton Mill in the UK to celebrate the 50th anniversary of kart racing. He drove a restored Birel Fox with a Parilla motor and I was fortunate enough to be there to see him. He was extremely fast and it was hard to believe a man of his age could pilot a kart so competitively. All of us there that day treated him with the karting celebrity status he deserved. Brilliant stuff. Here are some pictures of Edgardo at the event from another site. Edgardo Rossi at Whilton Mill in 2009 |

I could be wrong but I believe it is. I saw a race with him in FSA in the early 90's and he was VERY quick. So either had mega equipment in karts or rubbish equipment in F3/3000...
