I prefer the looks of a normal late model body.

As mentioned by PorscheFanNo1 in the STCC thread, the entry list for the 2010 Camaro Cup Series is now out and it includes no less than 38(!) cars! 26 drivers will use the new model while the other 12 will use the older one.
I'm seriously considering shuffling some things around so I can go and watch at least one race in person. |

Large grid! The old cars are only allowed this season?
Any teams showed their new cars to the public? |

Reading a bit more closely (which I should've done the first time, obviously), we won't see a 38-car grid - there won't be enough room for that many cars. So much like NASCAR there will be cars going home after qualifying is over.
Not sure yet how many cars they plan on letting onto the grid, if they will use a fixed number or adjust it depending on the track etc. I'm personally hoping for a number close to at least 30 (the more the merrier), but time will tell. In regards to the older model I have no idea, and it's probably a bit too early for any teams to show their cars yet. |

Breaking News
Below are clips of the Camaro Cup series that are coming to the 'States to join us as part of the Sebring SCCA (regonal) event February 11-12. Some of their drivers will also be competing in the 12 Hour in March. 'Should be great fun to watch. Most have never raced in this country before...OR under our rules

I've grown up watching these guys, all the way back to the 3rd Gen Camaros. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to describe how cool it will be for those guys to take on Sebring and PBIR. Friendler and more relaxed paddocks are far and few between, and these guys have grown up loving the American way of racing. A few guys are still left from the old 3rd gen days wrestling the cars around Knutstorp, I can't think anyone of them ever thought they'd do this. It's such a great car for the money as well, so let's hope the SCCA guys bring their checkbooks.
