Has anyone heard on Heart FM, that this Saturday's meeting at Lydden has been cancelled "due to unforseen circumstances"?

Apparently, round 1 will now take place on Match 6th.

Nothing on LHMC website though.

when did you hear this? I hope not! its been too long (well 2 months) since i went to a motorsport event, It better still be on!

Im very surprised there hasnt been enough entries!!
Wheres all the Swifts???
Its a real shame the sport has become a "season sport" and to think it was a winter sport from the beginning!!!!
Even oval racing get great entries during the winter months re Mildenhall last Saturday!!
So how about we either give up on winter events or do a very low entry(at cost) so drivers can see what they where missing out on?
Ok i know tracks need to make a living but its good in the long run!!

From reading somewhere else you can pay on the day but have to enter by tomorrow I think i.e. give Amy a bell!

It's not that long since the last race meeting, you should do some rallies over the winter so you don't get bored and don't lose your gear

He's done a few track days at Lydden as well as the rallycross last winter so he knows the way round without me now (how hard can it be? ). Not sure about a win against the supermodifieds - it's a heavy old bus (but a couple of kilos lighter without me in it). It sounds superb though

"LHMC Rallycross Winter Series, Round one @ Lydden Race Circuit 23rd January - THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES AND TRACK LICENSE DIFFICULTIES"
