Oh christ.
I felt good for JPM then, but now he starts second and no longer behind JMac. One day we will win a race. When I do not know but someday. |

No! JMAC and JPM do not have enough fuel to make it now.

Well, congrats to Harvick. And even though they lost, both Ganassi boys made huge points today.
And incredibly, the team that won this event last year and has S&Ped every race until now, finished 10th. |

I have to say that this race was flawless compared to the ones last year. Good job NASCAR for making their car better. It's still not perfect, but I'll take it.

We still have nationwide to run. We're not done yet.

2am start in Oz - too early for me... What happened to Ambrose, his 3rd 35th+ finish of the year

WTF happened to Junior? Second race in a row he's run strongly through the race and led some laps only to fade at the end. He obviously doesn't like the endless white/green/chequer charades. He's not the only one!

Fantastic race, unlucky for JPM with how strong the 11 had been in the drafting all day i thought he would have had it, but a top 3 with a few of the big guns having average finishes or DNF's, plenty of ground made up.
More fireworks to come for the 48 & 24? I think so. |

Commentators called Harvick about 7 laps out, and they were bang on! Great finish by Harvick.
Strong work by the 42 and Jamie upfront, but the cars still aren't quite fast enough. Bud luck for The Biff, that so many Cautions at the end, drained his tank. With the way the rule works, it is definitely in favour of the bigger teams, because you can have one of your loser cars throw a yellow, to help your man up front - or drain someone else's tank. |

He has long had issues with fading in the latter parts of races. It hasn't appeared due to the new GWC regs! With any other form of motorsport, the multiple GWC regulations would drive me up the wall. I would much prefer the yellow flag finish. NASCAR is a different animal, though: you have to go enter its cage with a somewhat altered perspective. It really does make sense for NASCAR, I think.
