FFF confirming they will be running 3 cars in Endurance and sprint, with potential extra IGTC outings also.

They will be factory back so expect a fully fledged factory driver entry, as well as a mix of pro/am and silver maybe in the other two.

They will share factory backing in Blancpain with GRT Grasser again, who will run 2x cars in Endurance, 1-2 cars in Sprint, while their primary programme will be Gt Masters

And R-Motorsport are confirmed - driver pairings TBA but the 5 drivers below are confirmed

R-Motorsport - Aston Martin Vantage GT3 - Matthieu Vaxiviere / Marvin Kirchofer / Jake Dennis
R-Motorsport - Aston Martin Vantage GT3 - Maxime Martin / Matt Parry / TBA

Entry List so far- nearly 40 in Endurance with plenty more to be announced, looking like we could have a big grid this year especially in Endurance.

For reference, 53 cars ran in the season opening Monza last year.

Some of the old regulars are still to declare, between these we could easily see another 14-15 cars

AF Corse - undeclared but most likely to be present with several cars, likely in Am & Pro/Am

Attempto - have 3 new Evo R8's, im sure we will see a minimum of 2

Black Falcon - TBC

Kessel ?

Rinaldi ?

Emil Frey - pretty sure I saw that the lexus programme will continue

NSX - and of course the rumour that we will see Honda present in some form this season.

In Sprint it certainly seems to be, though not in Endurance. Under the skin they're basically the same car aren't they?

Dont worry, Kessel, Rinaldi, AF Corse, Spirit of Race all look likely to participate with Ferrari's they just havent announced their programmes yet.

do u know what team will get the Lexus program? if any...

can we expect Porsche, Aston, McLaren and Bentley in the sprint serie?
annual trip to Brands Hatch booked, don't want to go for an Audi vs Lambo challenge!

Toyota's motorsport program was announced earlier today and they confirmed the RC F would compete in Europe. But not sure if it'll be in Blancpain still.

Porsche, Aston, Mclaren are certain for Endurance but not sure on sprint

Fingers crossed, currently it’s a AMG, Lamborghini and Audi fest

Hope this is the case. Big disappointment and let down that Emil Frey is leaving Lexus and moving to Lamborghini. Suppose that when it comes to manufacturer diversity, IMSA GTD is king for now.

Easy to say when you already know 100% of the IMSA field and only 30% of the Blancpain Endurance field officially confirmed.

Jenson Team Rocket RJN - Honda NSX GT3 Evo - TBA / TBA / TBA

Possibility of a second car too for Spa.

So 2 big bits of news here, Jenson Button moves into team ownership, and Team RJN move away from Nissan.

Curious if we will see the Nissans running this year, with only KCMG running the cars in IGTC.

The colourscheme of the car in the rendering is a nice touch as well- I wouldn't be disappointed if they kept those colours...

Why would they do that when they were on verge of making the Lexus a regular winner?

Money? Japan not interested?

The Toyota release this week made it sound like they will fund one car in Europe, so maybe there’s not enough money in it for Emil Frey to want to run that programme this year

Swiss Media says, that Lexus didn´t want to develop the car further, which is important for the team. Emil Frey Racing want to be a racing service provider and not only a Operations team.

I get the point behind not wanting to develop it further. It's good enough as it is they feel. Same with the Mercedes. Besides, no reason to make an evo kit for the car when in a year or so new rules come into play for cars that are sedan-based coupes.

Panis Barthez Competition, via Tech 1 Racing will be the new team running the Lexus RC F GT3.

A full Blancpain Europe run in Sprint and Endurance, likely with 2 cars.

Brings our Endurance total up to 42 cars, and Sprint up to an almost respectable 19.

And of course keeps one more manufacturer present, helping the Ednurance cup look a little less like a Mercedes, Audi, Lambo fight.

Lets hope they muster a strong PRO line up alongside a likely PRO AM or SILVER team
