I downloaded the Mclaren Challange mod today - brilliant - one of my favourite cars. Can't work out how to get the Le Mans circuit in though......

Can anyone tell me how I get the Le Mans track from Proto C into the McLaren Challenge mod? I've tried the Track Manager to import it and then tried it manually, but without any success at all...... It doesn't show on the track selection screen no matter what I do.....????

What an absolutely Epic effort these guys did to pull this mod together. There's heaps of content, the amount of cars mind blowing.

I've been having some problems with the launcher though, car/season selection not being used in game for instance (I didn't un-install the beta Scc mod, guess that is the problem)

Some of the car models don't look very good or accurate in my opinion (550 and Saleen especially) but on the whole it's a very nice addition to my mod library

You need to edit a couple of files first, this page will give you the info you need

I need some more help........

I downloaded SCC last night. I ran the installer and it told me I needed the .NET Framework. I downloaded and installed that. And nothing.... nothing at all.

I deleted the temporary files and re-ran the installer. It unpacks the three files and then does nothing. When I open the set up exe it chunters away for ages and does nothing.

So, what am I doing wrong guys?

You sure you downloaded the right .NET framework, and not the developers kit?
You need the .NET Framework 1.1 Redistributable.

Yep, that's the one I got. The right reference number too - I checked that first. I'm just wondering of somehow my download of the installer is corrupt. Can someone tell me the exact size of it, as downloaded?

The installer unpacks the files oK (so it seems) - I'm left with three files in the temporary folder (is that right?). But when it finishes, nothing happens (despite it saying that it will launch the installer when its finished the unpacking). If I then click on the set up exe, it brings up the normal installation window and then chunters and chunters and chunters. I let it run for about 5 minutes with no obvious sign of anything useful happening......

Worked like a charm for me, maybe try downloading it again in case it's corrupted as you say?

May have to - bloody long wait though. If someone could just record here the file size of the downloaded installer, at least I could check to see if mine is exactly the same. I've occasionally had a corrupt download in the past and the file size is often a giveaway. Having said this, if it was corrupt, would it have extracted those three files....?
