Maximum Overdrive has had a big shakeup this year due to the loss of their star driver (and team namesake). The new owners have picked a name that some say might not be ideal...

Team: Blue Arrow Racing Force (aka BARF)

Power Unit: Ferrari 23,000

Total: 99,000

Hopes are not particularly high to repeat our championship win last season!

This is likely against the spirit of this competition (second entry from one person). ScotsBrutesFan, just ignore this if this is a no-go. I don't think it's fair for me to claim a lineup on a second entry. So if someone wants this lineup feel free to use it and I will step aside. Assuming ScotsBrutsFan even allows this.

With Max leaving Maximum Overdrive, he has bought a poor performing constructor and power unit to prove that it is all about the driver and not the car. Max is also not very good when picking team names

SBF racing will also make an early season change... sadly a change of constructor isn't an option, but they will be taking advantage of the free substitution and replacing Zhou with Magnussen

(in the best traditions of SBF Racing.. Look out for Zhou's best performance of the year now that I've dropped him).

I can advise this change is acceptable and confirmed in place for 04 Japan onwards.

Thanks SBF. As with you, I expect my team change to coincide with a sudden uplift in form for Alpine….. it’s actually the first driver change I’ve ever made.

Wolf GP wishes to make a double driver change bringing in Oscar Piastri and Nico Hulkenberg bringing in a new mix of youth and experience. They cost 30,000 and 25,000 which is 1,000 less than the current drivers who wish well for their futures.

Substitution confine and in place for the Imola Event.
The first driver change was free, the second cost 20 points. ...this will reflect in the season overall table.

SBF Racing will be making wholesale changes for the remainder of the season, In the knowledge that they have already used their Free substitution, and with a view that they are unlikely to get out of the bottom 5 anyway, they are prepared to sacrifice 40 points

In comes Norris and Ocon. a total of 58,000

First and Last at last have decided that finishing last is no fun, and in an attempt to finish first in the race next time, they are changing their first and second drivers to the driver who has finished first in a some of the last races, and lastly another driver who keeps getting out of the first part of qualifying and often gets into the last part of qualifying, even if he has never finished first and drives a car which last season often finished last.
