We're trying really hard, 105octane, but we aren't there yet, unfortunately. Fingers crossed for the Autosport Award, and keep working working working on finding the necessary support, that's the answer!
As to the testing, every time he has tested, he has either been quickest, or with the quickest, and/or impressed the hell out of someone, so if we keep going, maybe we'll impress the right people and be able to find those elusive pieces of the jigsaw. You know - the green and crinkly ones |

You did see Alex and Sam (his g/f) at the rally. Helluva spot, that one, eric. As to having parents like the Manns, well if I had one that looked like Pippa, I'd be arrested. |

It true tht you need to be quick initially, but itr will take a while to come, and if you jump in at the deepend you just get overwelmed and "neged" out. She should have got the basics first. |

Wise word from Justin Dawkins...
Thats what I was trying to get out, learn the ropes in a less public light, if you have some talnet to complete (not nessasarry win) then move through the formula's as it is obvious it is not a career choice for Pippa, so why learn in such a high profile Formula and be really off the pace. Even if she was to get real good real quick, it would be hard to shake the memory of the poor performances, where people won't be so quick to jude in a lower catagory like Zetec junior class, or say FF1600 maybe even zip ? |

IMO she should give Formula BMW a shot then move up to FRenault.

...........Then send some more pictures!
Seriously though, she should start off with something a bit more simple, Zetec, or Zip. Fbeemer is going to be a little like renault in terms of the difficulting in setting up. Zip is the best bet really, the cars are basic, so you can concetrate on driver, with a little intro to racecraft, and you have experienced guidance from experts. BTW I don;t work for Zip!! |

If I had a shed load of money to race in a junior championship, I'd probably go for Renault because it has the fastest cars. Why go for anything slower when you can afford the quick stuff? More fun. The really quick drivers are quick whatever they drive.

Absolutely
Because if you go for the quick stuff, with quick experienced drivers in, in cars which are difficult to drive, and set-up you will be at the back. That doesn't tend to be any fun if she is like 99% of human kind, do a track day if you just want to drive round and round! Maybe if I had a picture of her (another one) then I could evaluate which formula would be best for her. |

The engineers set the cars up at this level, not the drivers. I suggest that most of the drivers are thrashing round in the dark, saying what they want (more grip all round) but when the car is balanced, there's little more a driver can contribute. A driver normally says a softer car feels better, but that isn't always quicker.
The engineer has to get the optimum setup using the driver's feedback, and even that feedback isn't crucial at this level - the stopwatch is the crucial bit. If you have that sort of money, go to a team with all the right setups to start with - doesn't matter if it's Zip, FF or FR. But you have to get a team which can set the car up. |

Only after a driver has experience of various aspects (including disasters which have happened to him/her) can they bring that experience to bear in terms of car setups. You have to learn these things, by trial and error, by time in the seat, and by going through testing programs with really good engineers. Then the driver can feel the differences and store the information for use in the future.
Sorry chums, I don't have any pics of Pippa!! Maybe FHM magazine should approach her? She appears to have rather more going for her in terms of physical attributes than Danica Patrick, and I bet it didn't harm Danica's profile |
