Open door, throw coins at basket? I've seen it done in New York, ok it was a couple decades ago with British cars on the Thruway. I'm guessing you usually paid more in toll with the misses but guessing an IF driver can afford a few extra

I remember back in the early eighties arriving nightly at a toll gate we could only have some candies for change instead of coins. A good bloke driving the Dunlop truck tried to pay with tyre valves with few success! Blessed times.

Great pics, thanks! Easier to see the details when the car is painted in grey. The front splitter looks like another italian make. And the central exhaust is unique.

I like this car. Im rooting for it! It's always good to see these smaller companies/teams entering the championship.

Also very much hoping to see this in WEC. I know the ACO have got to think of numbers, and keeping big brands happy-ish, but seeing some different machinery out there is great. I'd much rather limit manufacturers to 2 car entries and see more variety (yes, not going to happen, but...)

The latest rumor is that Vector Sport has been ousted of the car exploitation next year, replaced by Duqueine.
Wait and see... |

Why not many talk about Isotta?
Even during the WEC broadcast and on the official WEC videos they talk about Lambo, BMW and Alpine coming but not about Isotta. I understand the big manufacturers bring in the viewers and interest but would be great to highlight the small manufacturers taking advantage of the Hypercar regulations |

It could be that they would rather put something out when it's suitable, and not just to feed the social media machine. Announce on their channel or a press release to legitimate outlets.
Doing things just for the sake of it cheapens their venture, and makes their efforts look like a clown show. Taking the line of minding their "p's and q's", putting their efforts into getting the car and team ready for the upcoming season, is more important. |

I do not mean the team - I meant the WEC commentators or the WEC official channel.
I have been watching the Bahrain race on youtube and they talk about Lambo , BMW and Alpine but not about Isotta(maybe I have missed them referencing it) - same with the official WEC youtube channel. They did a video on the new cars coming next year and did not make any mention of Isotta |

Isotta themself do a lot pr.
I was also surprised the Isotta project was not mentioned during the last WEC round. I admit didn't watch the full race so maybe I missed it. With Michelotto, HWA, Williams involved it looks like a serious project. |

Yeah, they weren't mentioned in the full access episode which was both surprising and disappointing. |

This might asnwer the question why there has been silence on the car - maybe not all is good behind the scenes.

Duly taking over the torch from Vanwell/ByKolles. Careful, WEC does not like the negative publicity that a move like that brings to their championship. Remember, they need to create some entry space for Alpine and Aston Martin in 2025...

If Aston doesn't die again before 2025, for sure. Alpine? Nope (not in WEC at least) But also remember there will be more places on the grid in 2025 (if I remember right, or was it 2026?).

40 grid spots in 2025. Enough for 3 more cars. 1 Aston Martin (if all is well) and possibly another Lamborghini. That leaves 1 spot open. Isotta wants a 2nd car, but maybe another Porsche comes on line by then, or... ByKolles teams up with Vector Sport?

I'd expect a 2nd Proton Porsche to be in line ahead of IF's possible 2nd entry.
