Paul Tracy had an allmighty spin and took the nose of his car off.
Alex Figge has gone to the medical centre after he spun and hit a grass verge and got the car airborne , maybe he is complaining of back pain. she's a wild old time in Edmonton |

I personally want to see Rahal win, if not I'm very happy to see Will Power win.

The other thing is that there's a ton of dust on the course. They run the jet religiously between sessions but the prairie wind just brings all the dust back. Of course, that wind also keeps us poor corner workers from frying! Anybody see Power tear the front wing off on the driver's left curbing between 2 and 3 after making his pole lap? We can't believe how much all of them have been clouting the FIAs. Tracy hits the driver's right curb so hard he's completely airborne. Next best in style points is Heylen in #34. Why do the commentators continue to call Jani as "Jah-nee?" I though it was "Yah-nee." Same with Doornbos.

Dominguez is out , thats a shame really , he got his chance today and made a pretty good start , but it seems some sort of engine problem has put him out

What a shame for Power!
Could have been an awesome weekend for Australian motorsport - Webber's podium, MotoGP domination, and Power... But it wasn't to be... hopefully he can bounce back quickly. |

Bit of a dull race, it seems when F1 has a great race all other championships should be unusually processional (CCWS, IRL, MotoGP). Bourdais looks like he'll have one last title, with his main challengers having a bad race. Good race for Wilson, Rahal and Pagenaud though and on a great track too. |

I was really looking forwards to seeing the race,i taped it and watched it last night, man i enjoyed the race, which was the first champcar i seen since the final round in 06, and seeing the race starting as a standing race was great two,the championship start off great with 3 differnt drivers battling it out for the cup,but once Australia, got the races again, look like bourdais is going to be the main contender again.
