Thanks for the input. I'm well aware that without control things can get loony. I've organized some parades in the past and all has been OK but know one can't be complacent. Thanks for PM try to get to it soon.

Unless the parade is pre-notified to John Symes at the MSA and included in the meeting permit, the Personal Accident cover provided by the MSA is invalidated. That is to say that any marshal hurt during such parade/display or whatever would not be allowed to claim on the MSA insurance. Marshals' Club members should still be able to claim under BMMC Personal Accident cover but that is, of course, less generous than that provided by the MSA.

parade laps
Would suggest enlisting a few drivers who could do a few hot laps with paying punters donating money to the charity. Don't let them out in their own cars please!!
Air ambulance sounds good to me too. Then there's the Motorsport Safety fund too but the air ambulance would probably get more support from the public. |
