The Boost rocket made the finish.. despite the un-penalised clash with Mr Mostert.
There is something to be learned for them, and probably the field, about front splitter mountings. This car had to get fitted with a replacement after the original was left at Forrest’s Elbow… and once fitted… it was running nowhere near its previous pace. Mr Chahda’s first stint cooked the tyres by his own admission too which didn’t help their day. Glad Mr Adderton saw some fun at Optus’ expense

I don't know how he could crow about that performance.
Last Bathurst, and Sandown were both credible performances and I had changed my opinion about Matt, but they were nowhere at Bathurst and instead of staying out of other people's way and just gaining experience, both drivers got involved in things they should not have. Both instances could have had serious consequences for someone. They had no place turning down on Chas, and likewise should have known how to get out of the way on Conrod without letting up on the throttle with Moff inches off them - I didn't see the incar from that but the helicopter shot looked BAD. |
