Just in case people do not realise, the racing on the usual one mile circuit is in the first half of the day. After lunch there will be 24 races on the oval plus the truck races on the 3/4 circuit. A new formula will be demonstrating on the oval and that will be American sprint cars. Big 6 litre V8 engined cars with huge wings. As usual there will be Ministox, Outlaw hot rods, MASCARS (scaled down NASCAR shape cars), pick up trucks and bangers.

And another thing Chris. Don't forget to bring the '50g/6 chunk Cadbury's Dairy Milk chocolate bars', as specified in the finals, for delivery, I presume, to the signing on Secretary but FOR the Marshals.

Now I'm all for supporting the marshals but what guarantees have we got that all this chocolate will ever leave the Signing-on office ???

Us new boys to DMN have got so much to learn.

It's alright Rob, we're bringing some brakes with us this time, no more using purple minis to stop....

Rain dance doesn't seem to be working, Met office says dry and sunny.

Also just noticed that the only work that can be done on the grid after a stopped race is the tightening of wheelnuts....

Yes Rob, following the Brands Race 1 fiasco, the team manager has been sacked and replaced by Mrs W who has briefed me on how she will ensure that 'nuts will be tight or else', which involved a vice and a hammer.

Cheek!!

They'll all be passed to Chris Bird the chief marshal, and the fines will go the the treasurer to go into the marshals fund.
