Really impressed how fast the times were this session. I think we will see both Toyotas in the 1:45 for qualifying followed by Ferrari and Caddy. |

I'm enjoying this cold tyre qualifying. It just gets quicker and quicker.

That'll make a nice headline in Maranello. Mega lap from Fuoco's onboard; if there's time left in the 499P, I couldn't see it.

Well based on what we have seen in free practice and qualifying, looks like this is going to be a Toyota - Ferrari battle in terms of speed, we will wait and see if it is the same for reliability

Great start for Ferrari, so pleased they are back in Sportscar racing for overall wins.

I bet Pier Guidi does as well! Relatively large gap between the two Ferrari's, whereas the Toyotas in particular are much closer.
Realistically, Toyota are still favourites in terms of reliability. It'll be fun to see how far they're pushed. |

Yes and the unpredictable nature of the cold tires on these cars seems to catch people off so far.

Looks like tire warm up is the key. If you can get it and beat traffic then qualifying is yours to put the lap together. I expected the Cadillac to be a little closer and same with the Porsche's. Should be a great race.

IMSA has not had tire warmers, and it was only a minor issue at Daytona and almost a non issue at other tracks in the past 3 years. The WEC teams just need to get adjusted to the rules. The drivers will get the hang of it.
