That was sloppy and quite rightly the start's been waved off.
They get away second time round but we have the first caution as Power touches Newgarden and hw in turn hits Rahal. There wasn't enough room for Power, he should get a stop go for that. |

I saw what he was trying to do but it was way too ambitious. Now with the full course caution his penalty has been neutralised.

Which commentator was it that just claimed to have won the 24 Hours of Le Mans? Cheever and Goodyear have come 2nd in class...

The biggest thing that leaves me wondering a little is why Briscoe didn't get pulled in for sticking his nose in that closing hole heading into Turn 3.
All-in-all, it seemed good, and I was happy to see Helio win. |

I'm happy for Penske, of course! (my candidate lost at the primary elections in Uruguay, by the way.) Power and Castroneves drove much better than the rest.

Briscoe should have got a drive thru penalty for that poor move - I hope in Texas someone other than Penske, Ganassi or Andretti win!

I rather suspect that they will not leave the old road in place when they get to work this summer. That's going to be quite a lot of re-paving, as well as a substantial amount of new paving and ripping up of the old back stretch.

Good race weekend. As usual there were a few of the banzai movies typical of Indy street races resulting in accidents. For example, Hinchcliffe's dive on the inside of Aleshin was not good racing, and Hinchcliffe should have gotten a penalty. Power got a penalty for the same on Sunday. However, overall Will Power looked a lot hungrier than Hunter Reay this time.
