I'm far more concerned about the fact it's still a giant executive saloon, electric or no. They would have more steering lock, I guess.

I want a fridge that does 0-60 in 2.5. My current fridge doesn't even do 60.
I wouldn't be surprised if E-GT doesn't have the funds to get off the ground. I don't think we've actually seen more than 1 car in a video yet, and the car in the video isn't the one in the renders. They've said a few times that the car is rear drive, but they've also said they're now using the P100DL, which is 4WD. The 100 is obviously the best option, but is it 4WD or rear drive? Scheduled to race at the end of November, so it'd be nice to see some photos of the new cars, and the liveries etc. |

These Teslas would look good at Brands Hatch, Zolder, Nürburgring and Norisring.
Monza, Silverstone and Paul Ricard have straights too long. |

Car should lend itself to short straights and quick bursts quite well. Brands Hatch would be awesome. Even the Indy loop. |

I suspect the series does have issues, but not for those reasons. A lot of series have not announced the 2018 calendars yet, and the reason testing stopped is they're moving from the P85 to the P100D.

Electric GT just launched a Electric GT branded electric karting series, so that's a sign of some movement still I imagine the logistics of getting these kind of cars race ready, and being the first people to ever really do so, is probably what is pushing the timeline back |

Give that it's a support series, I'd do an all-star race with Patrick Dempsey, Jay Leno, Leonardo DiCaprio, Keanu Reeves, Brad Pitt, Usain Bolt, Eric Bana, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Rowan Atkinson, Pierce Brosnan, Richard Hamond, Matt LeBlanc, Sabine Schmitz, Natalie Portman and Danica Patrick.

Series moved back now, as they move to the P100D base.
The Electric GT Championship will commence in mid-2018, and will bring a weekend-long celebration of electric innovation to racetracks around Europe. |

Thanks for that-saved me from booking a useless trip-why can't they arrange to support the FE series?

Why does it matter what the road car is vs. the race car? As in, where is it etched in stone that it has to be 4wd because it's based on the 100? Have I missed something?

Either way, it does appear they've moved car. New version has the larger battery, 4wd and new front grill. Of course now they'll no doubt be looking at the possibility of using a gen 2 Roadster come production. |
