Yeah agree Paula Cook.
me and my friend paul used to have a sweep stake in each race as to which lap she'd crash out on (e.g. i'd have laps 1 3 5 etc.. and he'd have 2 4 6 etc...) The crowning glory was at croft when she'd crashed off right in front of us at turn one on my lap At donny in the elise's she didn't make the first lap. She spun and stalled before crossing the line TO START the first lap (i remember this as it was the weekend Barrichello won the german gp). Paula gets my vote Last edited by MrTTraces; 6 Aug 2002 at 19:53. |

Neilwaynesmith,
Just to correct you, Rouse actually debuted the Mondeo at Pembrey in 93, scene of the greatest start in history, where 9th on the grid Jo Winkelhock led into the first turn. |

Its a weird choice but i never really rated Peter Kox. Why you all scream? Well, he always seemed to get punted off the track every other corner. In my humble opinion if youre gonna race in such a competitive series youve got to know how to control a car and stop it spinning!

O'Schumacher,
I said time dims the memory!!! Watched the tape again and you are right; What a start! I orgot that, for such a diddy guy, he must have whatsits the size of melons to pull a start like that into one of the worst hairpins in the country... |

How about old Hamish Irvine from the privateers. Not entirely his fault though cos he was self-funded and always gave it a really good shot.
We always used to feel sorry for him and used to give him a big cheer when he came round during the driver's parade.... |
