fp3 mixed up the fast cars again. Looks interesting as far as who has a quick car in hypercar. Even Lamborghini is towards the front.

Did the Porsche get a tow? Did they move the speed trap for it? Where is the speed trap, is it even in Brazil?

The Porsches (and Alpine and Lamborghini) went out and did qualy sims right at the start of FP3. The stints were less than 10 laps during which the quickest times (5-6 laps for Porsche, 10 laps for Alpine and Lambo).

Ferrari and Toyota didn't really go out of their way to do any qualy sims. Their best laps were set during 14 lap stints so on higher fuel. Toyota is very fast here. Cadillac is also very fast on the long runs.

Qualy will be nuts. The hyperpole format suits this circuit. Drivers will be able to set multiple laps (compared to Spa).

After LM, several Porsche drivers were complaining about the top reporting they missed something like 4 or 6 kph. Seems to be fixed. As to the Isotta unfortunately the above 250 rule doesnt hurt too much. Agreed, the Hyperpole will be very important again, just hope the weather will remain acceptable (dry). During the race will Caddy and Proton take an advantage to have only two and not three drivers?

I turned on qualifying on my phone MAX app here, and it was fine with WEC commentary. I cast it to my tv and it is no commentary and ambient track noises only!

Yes, I tried, but for whatever reason, sending to Chromecast on my TV changes the audio back to no commentary and you can't select the other option while casting. I can turn it on and off if I watch on my phone no problem.

Either way, now I have RLM for audio.

That was nice. My picks are either of Toyota or Ferrari for tomorrow. It will be very hot and they are usually very good on tires. Cadillac is a darkhorse.

With lap times in the region of 1'24" for the first Hypercar and 1'38" for the last GT I think we'll see many overtakes (may be the first one as soon as lap 6 may be). So how many Hypercars in the same lap after two hours? The slightest mistake or technical issue is gonna be paid cash and sky high.

It's really so strange I don't think we can trust the speed trap numbers. No way Porsche and Toyota almost hit 290 in quali while BMW not even 270. Pace-wise and on the straights seems Toyota and Porsche are best but in the race all will be about tyre management

Looking how strong Ferrari was in that aspect at Imola, it might be their race to lose.
