Christer? Seeing the above pic some might think he became the Swedish Bibendum... He owned that 2 car Toyota team, drove himself together with Gunde Svan in 1994, but gave his own car in 1995 to Ingvar Carlsson to become the team manager only. Later he tried to establish a professional organised and televised RX series in Sweden, but eventually without success. I never met him again, but it seems that he is still racing with GT cars ('Ferrari 430 Challenge' etc). Perhaps The Eye knows more about CB...? BTW, CB is from Götene, Kenny Hansen's hometown, and his brother was (or still is?) a big shot in the Swedish ASN, the SBF.
Not so much, he seems to do some classic Escort rallying.

Not Maasmechelen, not Arendonk, not Ingelmunster – so not Belgium. And not easy! I guess somewhere in France, if not in the UK.

Yep, "Plastic Paddy" and his D2 Q8 Cossie. And as his starting no seems to be '2' it could/must be 1993. And yes, in 1993 we've been to Lohéac with the ERC.

Yep, the "Super Frog" and his BX GTI T16 4x4. And "schanche" wiped out the RESEAU CITROEN as well as the ACUVUE stickers... And the tarmac seems to be Eurocircuit tarmac, just before the first corner...

I remember Tommy K being horrified that year at Mondello becasue he though he had more power than anyone and JLP jhust pulled out on the straight and drive past.

Tommys gace was a picture of disappointment post race!

Nope, not Valkenswaard, but Mondello (the November page of my 1994 RX calendar shows the BX at Mondello as well), possibly just before turning into the last gravel corner (see my Svan pic on page 2), but from the outside of the track, where I never went to take pics. In case it is the spot I mean: When it was still dry that year JLP had very long flames coming out of his exhaust there. I know I have two flaming slides somewhere deep in my files, taken from the paddock banking. IIRC one of them was used for the cover of the 1994 Mondello ERC programme...

Not gonna guess at this one but why are these Corolla's so popular in Hungary and Eastern Europe!

Is it coz they are made in Germany and easy to get hold of?

I think a fgew guys used or still use them in Eastern European rallycross?

Bells was a bespoke thing buyilt by Gtech as I recall
