Not that I'm speaking from experience at all, I've often thought marshalls should have a flag with a BIG arrow on it, which they can show to cars joining the track or pitlane at the start of the session so that drivers who've never been there before know which way THE FING TRACK GOES!!!

As I say, not that I'm speaking from experience....

Not a flag I know but one of the Start/Finish car marshals does have a big arrow showing the way to Parc Fermé after they have completed their cooling down lap.

More specifically, that's an Orange Arrow.

You can tell because it's orange.

Oh you've done post 23 at Donington???
Scariest thing ever, Top Hat Alfa Romeos, up from the assembly area, first three cars turn right, UP towards the Dunlop Bridge, the rest turn left to go the proper way

someone needs to tell Tom Chilton that there is not another left hander imediately after goddards (p39)

apparently he managed to dent his helmet in that manouver

I was on post 39 and Mr Chilton was "spat" out of a 4 to 5 car mellee including Tim Harvey, Muller and a couple of others.
