Masataka Bandoh reveals that GTA chairperson Masaaki Bandoh wants to launch mobile phone livestream service like WEC app at the talk show.
However, it seems that it is not likely to be easy to realize. |

Brendan Hartley to a Honda seat? They were very complimentary of him-moreso then STR. I think he’d do really well in SGT

Honda *Auer and Karthikeyan will join in Honda camp. *Izawa: ARTA or Nakajima Lexus *There was a rumor that Lexus team will increase. Rumored team was KCMG. However this rumor is unlikely realized. *Kobayashi will concentrate on the development of hyper car. *Nissan *Weak point of MY18 GTR was front suspension. It lacked mechanical grip. *Nissan/NISMO will carry out the driver audition. Yasuda, Hirate. Hiramine, Rossiter and Moore will participate in the audition. *Oliveira might be released from Nissan camp. *Sasaki might join in team NISMO. |

He could be a 3rd driver,
but he will aim for a regular driver in other team. |

I know it's another off-topic but are you guys worried about Nissan right now?
With the Nismo Festival coming up and we've witness Carlos Ghosn being ousted due to corruption charges, are you worried that Nissan might not recover for next year's season? |

Are Nissan that desperate for cash that they will quit Super GT? I don't know how they are doing as a company at the moment, but I don't think that's likely.

That would be a massive loss of face for Nissan in Japan if they left SGT. Don’t see it happening unless the company is in peril. Could say that for the other two. Unlike DTM where we’ve had makes come and go the big three Japanese makes have stayed in GT500 for decades. Couldn’t imagine GT500 without one of them.

I don't think Nissan is going anywhere. They're still profitable so it's not a big deal Ghosn is out in terms of making money.

About Nissan's future.
It's unclear. Alliance between Nissan and Renault won't be changed. Rather, Nissan company's governance by Renault will be strengthened. Perhaps, Nissan might be absorbed by Renault. Nevertheless, the Nissan brand will remain. I do not know if Nissan's motor sports budget will be reduced. Whether Nissan is competitive in GT500 next season depends on whether they develop pre-chamber engine or not. |

Autosport web reports Leaf NISMO RC. Leaf RC has the same type CFRP subframe before and behind the CFRP monocoque for cost reduction. http://www.as-web.jp/supergt/436064?all |
