Yeah that would be surprising. All those millions of dollars wasted...

Well judging from the ariel map, it looks as though passing shouldn't be an issue, that's if they are quick enough to pass Bourdais...
But then again I thought the same for San Jose....

I just don't think so this time. If so, why?

You're asking?

I guess we'll just need to wait and see.

..as to the 'why'...wouldn't you want to drive a stake through the 'heart of the monster' (F1) which heaped scorn upon your facility's reputation in the eyes of the racing world...the F1 contract with IMS expires with this year's event...I think TG could be forgiven for wanting to 'Rip the sucker out'.

I don't think he wants an adversarial relationship with F1. Yes, the 2005 USGP was an embarrassment and a nightmare. Michelin "made good" on tickets and the problem. This year might be a critical year for F1 at Indy to see if folks come back and how big the chore will be to rebuild the race. But A) There are possibly other uses for the road course, which millions were spent to do, and B) They already redid the golf course just 12 years ago into a beautiful Pete Dye layout, spending millions to do it, and there's really no point in changing that.

...then let's agree to revisit this matter at year's end, shall we?
