This weekend, the TC visits OlavarrÃ*a.

1st in qualifying was Gastón Mazzacane, who broke the track record with 1'18.809 time (185.8 km/h average).
30th was José Manual Urcera (+1.227 s).

The race will be 30 laps or 50 minutes, but there will be a compulsory pitstop on laps 13-26 to change the right tyres (each has 5 nuts). As more than 40 cars will start, cars on odd boxes will change on odd laps, and cars on even boxes on even laps.

This year it's the centennial of the TC. On August 6, they will race the 1000 km Buenos Aires, exactly 100 years after the Gran Premio Argentino, which became a "turismo" (stock car) race after two decades as "Fuerza Libre" (run what you brung).

I really enjoyed Super TC2000 race in Mendoza. Joker lap seems a bit like... a joke, but the race was very good. Great performance by Yannantuoni, but I have been totally impressed by Fineschi, on the privateer Ford: what a driver and what an unlucky finish...

STC2000 seems a very interesting series, it's a shame they don't upload races with English commentary and that their website is only Spanish.

I had the race on, but I was editing Wikipedia, so I didn't really paid much attention.

I disliked that drivers could pick any lap to take the joker. I'd prefer two 5-lap windows, so it's easier to follow which drivers are in front and which are behind.

It's sort of a purpose-built street circuit. Kind of like Yeoungam and Sochi.

The Turismo Carreters will have a 1000 km Buenos Aires on August 6 at 9:00 am

o- Each regular season driver will have one or two additional guests.
o- There will be two driver changes.
o- Each pitstop can have tyre change or refuelling, bot not both.
o- There will be no qualifying. Drivers will start according to 2016-17 points.

The guests list is rather unimpressive.

Notable guests include Mariano Altuna, Marcos di Palma, Walter Hernández, Tito Bessone, Tomás Urretavizcaya, Nicolás Trosset, Johnnito De Benedictis, and Diego Azar.

Notable drivers missing are Esteban Guerrieri, Fabián Yannantuoni, Néstor Girolami, Franco Girolami, Facundo Chapur, Ricardo Risatti, Gustavo Tadei, Damián Fineschi, Bernardo Llaver, Humberto Krujoski, and MatÃ*as RodrÃ*guez.

Is there any rule about blocking in Super TC2000? Saturday I've seen just some slipstream cuttings in Rafaela

Crazy races but I really enjoyed them, the circuit is great too.

So sorry for Fineschi, so unlucky this year.
