New thing then means we'll have three international drivers in the championship at Thruxton - been a while since that happened.

In fact Gavin Smith makes it 4 at Brands and 6 for this Thruxton meeting. Turkington doesn't count as he's Northern Ireland, if anybody wondered.

I forgot Kizilirmak. They shouldn't ditch races I have a very short memory
And I didn't include Smith by not following a literal interpretation of 'international' I guess. |

O'Neill was at Brands on Thursday and Snetterton on Friday. Baring any last minute hitches expect confirmation early next week.
I understand there a very slim chance there may be a newcomer in a Civic as well. Don't get too excited though, I suspect that may not happen. |

There was talk of Synchro returning at one point, but surely they wouldn't do it for a single race. Maybe 2008 for them?

Hello agen folks, long time no post, glad to be back
Wow thats the first I've heard of that story - well stories, I'm too confused to work out how many possible entries have just been mentioned! The O'Neill/Motorbase story is the only one I'm familiar with, & i think thats more or less certain to happen |

I'm looking forward to next weekend, it's going to be a very interesting one aswell. By the looking of things there are one or two interesting extra names joining the grid.

There's never an official entry list in the BTCC is there? It's just who turns up on the Saturday really who's paid
