I just realised that as of the next Bond movie, my garage will probably have 3 007 cars. I completely missed that except for the DB5. I guess I shoulda thrown a Lotus Esprit in there somewhere.... Nah.
Oh, and I guess the 2005 Mini is small enough... but now I really want a 64 Monte Carlo Rally winning Cooper S. Last edited by evo; 5 Dec 2004 at 17:53. |

This is not easy! I could easily do 10 lists...
Off Road - Nissan Patrol GQ cab chassis with 18" wheelbase extension People Mover - Daimler Majestic Major limo Track Day - Panoz LM1 or any front-engined LM prototype Fancy Occaision - 1961 Lincoln Continental convertible - makes an impact without being too flashy Small Car - Renaultsport Clio 182 4 Door - Falcon GTHO Phase 2, 3 or 4 - you didn't say it had to be the daily driver! Exotic - McLaren F1 - I've got the book, now for the car Open top - Bolwell Nagari convertible Sportscar - Jaguar C Type - replica if I must to have it fit in this category! Classic - Tucker Torpedo |

Ok It's about time I showed my hand......
1. Off road/utility Toyota Hilux (with novelty horn and rebel flag in the back window) Or the FallGuy truck if Howie and Colt would sell it. People carrier Beyonce's Tourbus (all the creature comforts and it would still smell nice) Trackday 1998 Mercedes Amg CLK GTR (The last truly beautiful GT1 car.) Fancy Occasion This is the one I find most difficult. I dont like most of the cars that seem to fit, (Rolls and Bently do nothing for me If I wanted a couch on wheels with a fireplace stuck up front thats just what I'd do!! I know I'm a fool) So I think I'll have the utlimate in step out and get noticed Lamborghini Countach (jet black of course). Small car Mini Cooper (origonal) or maybe a Ford Puma. 4door/ 4 people Lancer evo....... Lancer Evo....... so hard to decide... Lancer Evo VI, Jet black Exotic. Mclaren F1 (ok it's predictable but when I went through all the others I could choose, it still stands out) Open top/roadster. Easy if it was modern cars only . Merc SL55 AMG. But I think Corvette stingray might just take this one. No no wait Merc SL55 AMG. Sportscar Porsche 911 GT2 Classic So many american muscle cars and classic english sports cars to choose from. So I'll have to pick a German one instead! Mercedes SL300 Gullwing. |

I've had a bit of a Re-think
1. Off road/utility Citroen Dakar Car from about 10 years ago. People carrier Would still have to choose a popstars Tourbus for comfort and space. Trackday Lotus Elise Fancy Occasion Still find this one most difficult because I dont like most of the cars that seem to fit the bill. But I think I'll go with Merc E300. Small car Smart roadster (brabus of course) 4door/ 4 people Changing this one too from Lancer Evo VI, Jet black to Lancer EvoVIII (gray this time.) Exotic. Ascari KZ1 Open top/roadster. Merc SL55 AMG. Sportscar Porsche 911 turbo Classic Corvette Stingray |

Time for a review...
4x4 - as before, Overfinch Range Rover Vogue. 'People Carrier' - waste of garage/hangar space. I'd hire a limo/tour bus/737 as appropriate when needed. Trackday car - Ariel Atom. Because it's just daft! Fancy occasion - no change here - Rolls Royce Phantom. Small/city car - no change here either - a London Taxi. 4 door/4 people - a Bentley Continental Flying Spur. You've seen the Continental GT coupé. This is the saloon version that makes the Mercedes S600 and BMW 750iL obsolete. Exotic - Um. A bit of forward planning here. The next Pagani. It's not due out 'til 2007, but trust me - it'll be special. Open top/roadster - Porsche Carrera GT. The best supercar available today, and it's a roadster if you take that roof panel out! Sportscar - I'll stick with a Lamborghini Murcielago. I've got to fit one in somewhere. Oh, and definitely in orange. Classic - There are so many, from a Rover P5B Coupé to a Ferrari 250 GTO, via an Audi ur-Quattro and the grey Pontiac Firebird I saw at the NEC at weekend... I'd love a decent classic Ferrari, but truth is I could easily fill another 10 car garage... |

Let's try:
Offroad - the asthetic cardboard box, mentioned above by ASCII. The H2 Hummer! People Carrier - Chrysler Town & Country Minivan. Hey, if I'm going to look like a dork, it might as well have woody sides! Track Day - Ferrari 360 Challenge Fancy Occasion - Ferrari 612 Scaglietti Small Car - Subaru WTS something or other. You know, the real fast, real ugly one? 4 door - Cadillac STS Exotic - Ferrari 550 Barchetta, red, of course! Open top - Shelby Cobra Sports Car - Honda S2000 Yes, its inexpensive, but so hot looking! Classic - Ferrari NART California Spyder There's a coffee table book out, called Ultimate Garages, that will boggle your mind when you see what people, really rich people, have in their real 10 car garages. Amazing! Last edited by GP Racer; 21 Jan 2005 at 21:16. |

Aliright, I made a few changes...
Off-road: Mitsubish L200 Strakar. Pretty much the same as before, but it's better looking than the Pajero I think. Trackday: This time I'll go with a Lola-Ford Cosworth Champcar, then find some backing to run the series. Open Top: Ok, I want a Honda S800 here. That's a very cool and incredibly rare car. |

Okie dokie,
1. Off Road Has to be the original iconic bog standard Land Rover 2. PPL Carrier Not a big fan of these, er can I convert that garage into a mini pub and my mates can stay over ? 3. Trackday Now do I have to be able to drive it home? If so it's easy BMW M3 CSL, now where's that map of the Nordschliffe? 4. Fancy occasion. Ah, I'd have to tap up Ron Dennis to a Two Seater Mclaren for the day, can Brundle be the chaufeur? 5. Small Car Already driven it and loved it to death - odd choice but - Daihatsu Charade GTti. 6. 4 Door. You'd want a really serious bit of kit for this. a machine that just covers all the bases. Easy, Audi RS6 Avant Quattro - wonderful machine. 7. Exhotic Oh crumbs, this may start years of agonising.... I'm gonna need help here - I can only narrow it down to three, you choose.. Porsche 911 GT1 Marcos Mantara LM600 Evo Panoz LMP01 (Step away from the question Cr0w, you'll only cry!) 8. Sports/Roadster Easy, Id have My '91 MX5 SE fixed up to perfect condition. 9. Sports Given the criteria, Aston Martin DB9 10. Classic It only just squeeks into the category, but I've loved it since the day it came out of Willy Keonig's madhouse, the gloriously insane Ferrari 512BBi Boxer Keonig Twin Turbo. I think I'd be dead quickly but with a big smile on my face. Only the Shelby GT500 would stand a hope in hell, and even then it would have to be as good as I imagined and take corners well. The thing is, I already know that Keonigs 512 was a nightmare to drive, but I could forgive it anything. Sadly I've never seen one in action, but I have seen his Testarossa twin Turbo conversions, and the make you feel like a little child again. And his F50 was nicknamed the "Armageddon" by Ian Kuah, who is not one to be easily impressed by a fast car |
