Most likely there will be highlights of FP1 on YouTube, coming up shortly.

Interesting stuff,t eh BMW was pretty much the same speed in Hypercar both sessions, odd, the Lambo looks to have made a jump. Peugeot bang average, Alpine looks a little slower than Imola
Dames look quit in GT, but Bachler 911 suspiciously slow in both sessions!! BMW well up but loads of data here from GTWC. Lexus v quick too oddly |

Weather forecast looks good, ie no rain. Thanks for the link, 333SP, it looks like the trtack limits are not an issue…

In FP2, they averaged 0.02 minutes between the front runners, from 2:04 to 2:06. That's keeping it close, then add in pit stops means that the BoP is holding up.

Wouldn't be Spa without a GT-Am Porsche getting written off.
Hope Malykhin is okay. |

That is a massive impact by Alex Malykhin in the #92 Porsche. Weve seen some big ones at Raidillon in the past but that seemed unusually violent.

Hopefully the #92 Porsche can be repaired or replaced with a spare chassis.

Very very close. Everyone outside of IF within 2 second. P11 was only .5 off the fastest time.

The level of competition is absolutely incredible. Factory cars from Ferrari, Toyota, Peugeot outqualified by privateer Porsches and newcomers Alpine and BMW.

Ferrari beats Porsche, Caddilac, and then 3 more Porsches to take the pole.

Excellent lap from Fuoco, he was the only one to replicate regular qualifying pace. A bit of disappointment for the 83 and the 20.

I don't like to complain, and its probably just me getting old, but that WEC website for even something as simple as the live times isn't very good..

It's not just you, and it's not that you're getting old. All of the ACO series websites are appalling for race start times. It was one of the series that caused me to start building my iphone calendar app.

Not that you ever wanna have a shunt like that but if you have to, Spa is probably the best place for a team like Manthey(in this series) as their shop is just across the Belgian-German border, only a hour-and-a-half up the road (east) from the track. I'm sure they have a spare GT3 chassis or two available which they can transport back to the track and start the re-build.

How come the Proton Porsche wasn't punished for track limits when it was over the outside white line on the entry and exit of Stavelot?

However, these vehicles are all to SRO specification or Nordschleife specification, while a lot of sensors still have to be installed for the ACO specification, which is normally around a day's work, according to the teams. |

Apart from sensors, loggers and driveshafts is there actually any differences between the cars?
