Are there any entry lists or official timetables out yet? I know a few people from Bathurst who are interested in attending, but they just can't find any info about it. By the way, what exactly is 'regularity'?
Thanks. |

Regularity Trials are a variation of the rules for Historic competition to allow those individuals who are unwilling or unable to race to run their vehicles for the enjoyment of themselves and the spectators. As such, it is exempted from some of the requirements of race competition. Historic vehicles complying with Group J, Group K, Group L and Group S regulations are eligible to compete. Sports and Grand Touring vehicles, manufactured before the 31st December 1970 are also eligible to compete. A Level 2S licence is necessary to contest these events, and they are essentially time trials. Competitors nominate lap times before the competition, and the winner is the driver who achieves lap times closest to those nominated. Regularity Trials provide an opportunity to field interesting cars not suited to racing and also provide drivers with an opportunity to get the feel of driving on a race track, possibly as a prelude to racing. |

My car has been tuned and I now have it at home with me. Get the tyres changed and give it a good clean and I am ready to go.
5 more sleeps and I will get my first taste of Mount Panorama in a racecar |

Can't wait! Six of the Qld Mx5's were loaded onto a truck last night, leaving today. We're catching a red eye to Sydney tomorrow morning, then driving the mega rental Tarago to the Mount!
Anyone seen the latest weather forecast? After a very warm few weeks down there, Thurs, cloudy 28 deg, Friday, Sat & Sun - Possible showers & temps from 9-21deg... Never dirven a Turbo in the wet.... |

500 entrants for the weekend? What a turnout!! I'm looking forward to it. Me and the lads will be there over the weekend with a portable BBQ and an esky of 'goodies', enjoying the racing. Good luck to everyone competing this weekend. I hope there are no major accidents and everyone has a good run. Mtpanorama, thanks for the programme mate. Looks like a good weekend. Will the track be open to the public on Friday, or just on the weekend? Does anybody know if there will be a programme of the event available at the circuit?

What a fantastic day today. The rain stayed away, and the racing was awesome. Such a huge variety of cars too...... Improved Production, Marque Sports, Production Sports, Group N..... can't wait for tomorrow.

Looks like IP and Sports Cars had some fantastic racing, maybe the all Mazda race hurt the IP grid? Looked like a good weekend overall.
