Indeed it was Phil, I actually felt warm. Been a while since I could say that at a racing circuit!

Pit lane was well and truly open to all on Monday. I was told I could stand on pit wall if I wanted.

The Merc people were fine in taking pics of nothing "important" but the Audi People were almost saying "get in the car and takes pic maybe take it for a drive if you like" it was that open

Theres some great shots here. It was bloody cold though! I actually had fingerless gloves on which made only my fingertips cold, which I think was worse!

It was glourious to see some DTM cars again, I'll be down there for the race! I used my Sigma 100-300 for the first time too, so it seemed like a test all round! Heres my results

Sorry to bump this up guys and girls but found my one of Schneider crashing at Druids that I hadn't posted.

I was standing just behind the marshal's post on the outside of the corner and whilst I got the moment he hit the wall, it was out of focus due to the fact my shoes cost more than the camera...

Bit daft taking expensive shoes trackside I tend to take ones that are falling apart. Indeed for the Britcar testing last year, I nearly got frostbite on my toes on account of walking on the frost

Ah but I wasn't trackside. I was standing on the fence. And I have one taken about 10 minutes later where I fell over in mid-shot and got blue sky...

Nope. When i fell off the fence I certainly landed in mud... I looked like one of the black and white minstrels if one can still say that.
